Teacher of History (ECT Support) - Camden Independent School

We are working with a prestigious independent secondary school in Camden to recruit a scholarly History ECT for an ASAP start. The school is looking for a new teacher with a deep passion for historiography and a desire to work in an environment that treats History as a core academic discipline. About the School This school is celebrated for its intellectual rigour and commitment to the arts and humanities. With small class sizes and a highly inquisitive student body, it provides an ideal setting for an ECT to hone their craft. The department offers a bespoke induction programme, providing a dedicated mentor who is a lead practitioner in the field. The Role This is a permanent, full-time role focusing on the delivery of History at Key Stages 3 and 4. The curriculum is broad and diverse, moving beyond standard textbooks to explore complex global narratives. The successful candidate will focus exclusively on the secondary age range, with no KS5 requirements in this initial post. Requirements QTS (or pending) and a strong degree in History. The school is unable to offer visa sponsorship; candidates must have the right to work in the UK. A valid enhanced DBS check. Salary M1 – UPS3 (£40,317 – £62,496) per annum.
