Construction Project Manager II – Capital Projects | Houston, TX Location: Houston, TX (Onsite) Industry: Construction Management | Energy | Capital Projects We are hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager II to support one of our largest energy clients in Houston, TX. This role is a key member of the Design & Construction team, leading capital projects from planning through execution. If you have strong experience in new construction, renovations, and MEP infrastructure in critical environments, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Manage capital construction projects from design through closeout Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates Lead subcontractors and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery Oversee quality control, safety compliance (OSHA 30), and risk management Review the scope of work, manage change orders, and negotiate pricing Conduct project meetings and provide financial/status reporting Ensure compliance with codes, specifications, and engineering standards Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (Master's preferred) 5+ years of construction project management experience (new construction, renovations, MEP systems) 5+ years of team/contractor management experience 3+ years in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or engineering services Strong experience in capital project scheduling and financial management Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and MS Office OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain within 120 days) Preferred Experience Critical environment projects (energy, industrial, manufacturing, data centers) Managing MEP infrastructure and complex construction programs Change order management and contract negotiation Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Medical, Dental & Vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off & Holidays Tuition Reimbursement & Career Growth Opportunities
