Director of Human Resources – Hospital/Healthcare

Our client is seeking an experienced People Services Director to lead all Human Resources functions and serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team. This leader will shape workforce culture, drive employee engagement, oversee HR operations, and support more than 200 employees in a high‑impact, community‑focused healthcare environment. This is a key leadership role for an HR professional who thrives in a hands‑on, relationship‑driven setting and wants to make a meaningful impact in rural healthcare. Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | Relocation Assistance: Limited Travel: Up to 20% Requirements: Lead and mentor one HR team member. Manage HR budgets, audits, compliance, and reporting. Foster a positive, inclusive, and high‑performing workplace culture. Lead or support union negotiations and maintain positive labor relations. Drive employee engagement, retention, and talent development initiatives. Analyze workforce data to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions. Lead all People Services/HR operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and C‑Suite on workforce planning, culture, and organizational development. Oversee employee relations, investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution. Support recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for all hospital departments. Qualifications/Must-Haves: Bachelor's degree. Strong employee relations background. 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience. Preferred Skills: HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP/SCP) Previous experience in a healthcare environment. Experience working with unions or labor relations.
