Physical Therapist

Are you a Physical Therapist ready to trade the fluorescent lights of a clinic for the freedom of the Texas road? Our client is seeking Full-Time Physical Therapists to join their growing branches across Central and East Texas. In this role, you aren’t just treating an injury; you are a vital clinical leader helping patients reclaim their lives. By assessing patients in their own environment, you can design truly functional recovery plans that address real-world challenges—from navigating a Texas porch to safe movement in a home kitchen. Key Responsibilities In-Home Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to determine functional limitations and safety risks within the patient’s actual living space. Functional Mobility Training: Design and lead therapeutic interventions focusing on transfers, gait training, and balance tailored to the patient's home layout. Case Management: Coordinate with an interdisciplinary "pod" including RNs, Occupational Therapists, and Physicians to ensure a holistic approach to recovery. Safety Education: Teach patients and families how to utilize assistive devices and modify their environment to prevent re-hospitalization. Documentation: Maintain accurate, real-time documentation (OASIS) using mobile-based EMR systems. Qualifications Licensure: Active, unencumbered Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Texas. Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred). Experience: 1+ year of clinical PT experience required; previous home health experience is strongly preferred. Travel: Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance. Adaptability: A self-starter who is comfortable working independently and navigating various home environments.
