Senior Client Accountant

An established CSP company based in Sliema, Malta, is currently looking for a Senior Client Accountant (Full-time or Part-time) to join their team. In this role, you will be providing efficient and high-quality service to a portfolio of clients. This is a hybrid role with flexible hours , offering a salary of up to €50K (pro-rata if part-time). Role & Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of clients and assist with their accounts, management accounts, as well as tax refund-related issues Prepare and submit VAT and tax returns, as well as payroll reports Prepare payment instructions Collaborate with internal auditors Assist the Fiscal Unit and prepare documents and reports Support liquidation processes, including preparation of supporting documents and coordination with relevant authorities Education, Skills & Experience Fully qualified accountant or currently within one year of ACCA completion 3+ years of experience as an accountant in Malta – non-negotiable Fluency in English at a C2+ level, both written and spoken Fluency in Italian is a plus Proven experience in Maltese VAT and tax law Proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience working with QuickBooks is a plus Organised, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Team player with strong communication skills Analytical with multitasking skills About the Role Salary of up to €50K, depending on qualifications and experience (pro-rata if part-time) Hybrid with flexible hours in Sliema, Malta Health insurance Free parking Study leave Opportunities for career growth Apply with your detailed CV in English. *JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
