Procurement Director – Brazil Industrial Supply Chain | MRO | Cross-border Expansion Location: Brasília or Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Employment Type: Permanent Salary Range: RMB 350,000 – 500,000 per year + performance bonus Visa sponsorship available for suitable candidates About the Opportunity We are partnering with a globally expanding industrial supply chain platform that provides integrated sourcing solutions for industrial clients. As part of its international expansion strategy, Brazil has become a key strategic market. The company is now seeking a senior procurement leader to build and optimize its local sourcing capabilities, supporting both multinational and Chinese-funded industrial enterprises operating in Brazil. This role combines strategic procurement leadership, local supplier network development, and cross-cultural collaboration. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop Brazils local procurement strategy aligned with business expansion goals Build and manage a strong local supplier network across core industrial categories (MRO, BOM materials, industrial supplies) Drive cost optimization, negotiation excellence, and supply stability Establish and improve supplier management systems (evaluation, onboarding, performance, risk control) Analyze Brazils industrial market trends, trade regulations and tax policies Build and manage a local procurement team (if applicable) Collaborate closely with international headquarters and local cross-functional teams (operations, warehousing, finance, legal) Improve inventory turnover and overall supply chain efficiency Ideal Candidate Profile 8+ years of procurement experience 5+ years of local procurement management experience in Brazil Strong background in industrial products / MRO / BOM sourcing preferred Deep understanding of Brazil trade rules, tax system and compliance requirements Proven negotiation and cost control capabilities Mandatory: Fluent Chinese (spoken and written) Fluent English or Portuguese for business communication Experience working with Chinese-funded enterprises is highly preferred Why This Role?
