Project Purchasing Manager MQT What you’ll do: Manage and development of Project Buyers for the ANA AS100 projects. Coordinate with the Product organization and the Global project purchasing initiatives and improvements. Strategic Context and Challenges Meet timing for project pricing proposals and launch activities that are required for sourcing of new components and carryover components. Successfully interact with the timing needs for the business units in new sourcing proposals. Supporting other teams within supply chain, sales, program management and the product family teams to assure company success. Deliverables Effective launches on time and within budgeted pricing. Expected improvement from award levels as related to project profitability. Assure that the team is effective, well training and can adapt to changing needs. Strong need for improved timing as launch timeframes are reducing. Core Responsibilities and Activities • Department Budget • Management of Buyers • Implement Global Purchasing Strategy • HR Development & Trainings, Performance & Development Dialogue (PDD) and Succession Planning • Administrative management responsibility for buyers located at the site • Compliance with Local law and Global Standards • Purchasing Report & KPI Reporting • Interface to plant production, engineering and quality • Manage and coordinate activities for Autoliv Product Development System (APDS) Purchasing Deliverables and project targets • Supervise, manage and Mentor Project Buyer and their activities • Interface between Purchasing and Divisional Business Unit (BU) Managers • Support OEM business quotation activities (PSC) Other Responsibilities • Support other member of the supply chain leadership team. • Function as a representative in a PFT team to support and represent supply chain is assigned. What is required: • Bachelors degree with 6+ years experience • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a supply chain function or related skill. • Experience dealing with sourcing and suppliers. • Fluent in English and Spanish • Ability to manage offsite employees or employees who work at an alternative location • Willing to travel up to 20%.
