Junior Commercial Insurance Broker

A market-leading commercial insurance brokerage in Qormi, Malta is looking to for a J unior Commercial Insurance Broker to join their team. In this role, you will assist in facilitating commercial insurance transactions, helping clients secure coverage for businesses, properties, and other commercial assets. The role involves market research, client communication, risk assessment, and supporting policy structuring and placement. This is a hybrid role that may involve client visits and offers a salary of up to €30K plus commission . Role & Responsibilities: Assist clients in identifying suitable commercial insurance solutions based on their needs Conduct market research, track industry trends, and gather data to support policy recommendations Evaluate risk profiles, coverage options, and financial implications to assist in decision-making Build and maintain relationships with clients through networking, outreach, and referrals Support the preparation of insurance proposals, policy documentation, and marketing materials Help structure insurance programs and communicate between clients, underwriters, and brokers Ensure all transactions comply with industry regulations and company policies Maintain accurate records, manage documentation, and update CRM systems Education, Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field Prior experience in insurance, brokerage, or risk management in Malta (non-negotiable) Fluency in English at C2/native level, both written and spoken Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software About the role Salary of up to €30K depending on experience Hybrid in Qormi Full time Excellent benefits and career progression Please note that we are only able to consider candidates who are based in Malta. *JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
