PURCHASING MANAGER I/ Job Description 1. Team Management: Lead the purchasing team in managing supplier deliveries, implementing cost-down projects, and sourcing new suppliers. Train and coach staff to improve their skills and capabilities. 2. Material Control: Optimize inventory levels, categorize inventory, and ensure available stock levels and supplier delivery schedules meet customer requirements. Check and monitor material shortages, communicate with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules, and ensure weekly production plans are met. Coordinate with relevant departments to create Bill of Materials (BOM) on the system, control ECN changes and 4M changes. Timely update customer change requests to adjust material plans accordingly.
