Bellville, Cape Town | Manufacturing | Salary Market Related About Our Client The company is a multi-entity group operating within the manufacturing sector. It utilizes the Syspro ERP system to manage its financial reporting, stock control, and costing processes. The Role: Group Financial Accountant (Manufacturing) This role exists to lead the financial MPC system from trial balance to full financial statements for multiple entities. It contributes to the business by maintaining financial health through management accounting, cost control, and treasury management. The main focus areas include overseeing stock control systems, maintaining Bill of Materials, and ensuring statutory compliance. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing. Lead the Financial MPC system from trial balance to full financial statements for multiple entities. Compile and present monthly management statements to Directors including budget versus actual deviations. Maintain Bill of Materials, monitor unit costs, and oversee stock control systems in Syspro. Manage cash flow, foreign currency, bank facilities, and ensure compliance with SARS and audit requirements. Act as a key user for Syspro to ensure system integrity and assist staff with SQL data extraction. Facilitate budget and cost control meetings across HR, Sales, and Logistics departments. About You Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role. BCom in Finance. Mathematics in Matric. Advanced Excel, Syspro (ERP), and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio skills. Proficiency in English and Afrikaans. Strong leadership skills to facilitate departmental meetings. CIMA qualification highly preferred. Background in the manufacturing sector preferred.
