HR, Employer Branding & Engagement Lead

About the client: Our client was formed to provide a genuine alternative to traditional face-to-face fundraising. They connect donors with major charities like UNICEF, WWF, and UNHCR . The firm focuses on high-volume donor acquisition through events and street marketing. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced HR, Employer Branding & Engagement Lead with a strong background in human resources, recruitment, people engagement, employer branding and commercial exposure. The ideal candidate combines strategic HR acumen with experience in talent attraction, employee experience design, and a strong understanding of sales or client-facing functions, capable of influencing internal culture and supporting business growth. Key Responsibilities 1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Strategy Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation and onboarding; develop creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles (e.g., sales, technical, commercial positions). Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver timely recruitment results. 2. Employer Branding & External Talent Marketing Develop and implement employer branding campaigns that communicate the organizations unique value proposition to candidates and employees. Manage digital presence on careers pages, LinkedIn, job boards and social media to drive engagement and high-quality applicant flow. Support content creation showcasing employee stories, workplace culture highlights, and brand messaging aligned with business strategy. 3. Employee Engagement & People Experience Design and deliver employee engagement programs (surveys, events, internal communications) that build morale, reinforce values, and nurture retention. Act as a people champion, support managers and employees with initiatives that strengthen team culture, recognition practices, and employee wellbeing. 4. Business & Sales Enablement Partnership Partner with commercial / sales leadership teams to understand business drivers, staff challenges, and talent needs in front-line revenue functions. Provide HR guidance that facilitates performance, motivation, and alignment with commercial goals. Support onboarding and ongoing development of sales and customer-facing teams with HR policies and people programs that reinforce business growth. 5. HR Analytics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement Track and report key HR metrics (time-to-hire, retention, engagement scores, employer brand KPIs). Analyze data to inform decision-making and recommend solutions that address gaps and optimize HR processes. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology, or related field . 4–6 years of professional experience in HR functions with exposure to recruitment, employee engagement, employer branding, and commercial support . Proven ability to manage employer branding campaigns and deliver candidate/employee experiences that reflect business identity. Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with HR systems, ATS platforms, and metrics-based reporting. Knowledge of Malaysian labour law and HR compliance (preferred).
