Key Responsibilities General Maintenance: Carry out essential repairs, including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and decorating. Site Security: Open and close the school daily, manage alarms, and perform key-holding duties. Health & Safety: Conduct regular inspections and maintain accurate records for fire safety, water hygiene (Legionella), and playground equipment. Grounds Upkeep: Keep school grounds tidy, manage waste disposal, and complete seasonal tasks such as gritting during winter. Candidate Requirements Experience: Previous experience in caretaking, site management, or trades is highly desirable. Reliability: A dependable professional who takes pride in the security of the premises. Communication: Ability to work collaboratively with the School Business Manager and cleaning staff.
