Role Overview The Pastoral Support Officer will support students’ emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and attendance. Key responsibilities include: Supporting students with behavioural or emotional needs Working closely with Heads of Year Monitoring behaviour and intervention plans Supporting reintegration meetings Liaising with parents Recording pastoral concerns accurately Supporting attendance improvement strategies Assisting with safeguarding referrals Coordinating mentoring support Supporting restorative practices This role requires patience, resilience, and strong relationship-building skills.
