Material Controller

Job description: Lead and supervise the Materials Team, ensuring all activities related to materials and equipment are effectively managed. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time, in full, and to the correct locations. Monitor and control material inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Collaborate with Production Dept. and other relevant departments to ensure material availability aligns with the production schedule. Support production planning activities and align material supply with the approved production plan. Prepare and issue purchase orders for materials and equipment based on production requirements. Prepare regular reports on inventory status, material usage, and cost analysis for management review. Ensure all material-related deliverables are clearly defined, scheduled, monitored, and completed in a timely manner. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Material Controller in manufacturing companies. Solid understanding of material planning, inventory control, and supply chain coordination. Proficient in SAP system Experience in wiring harness manufacturing is a strong advantage.
