Chief of Staff

About the role Zendr is entering an exciting next phase of growth and we’re now looking for a Chief of Staff to work closely with our CEO and leadership team. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role for someone who wants to operate at the center of the business, drive key initiatives forward and help shape how Zendr scales. As Chief of Staff, you will act as a strategic thought partner to the CEO, helping translate vision and strategy into execution across the organization. You’ll ensure alignment between teams, remove internal friction and make sure our most important initiatives move forward efficiently and with clarity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex problems and wants to have a real impact on both day-to-day execution and long-term direction. Key responsibilities Work closely with the CEO to shape, prioritize and execute Zendr’s strategic initiatives Act as a strategic thought partner and trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership Lead and manage cross-functional projects on behalf of the executive team, ensuring timely and effective execution Serve as a key liaison between the CEO, leadership team, board members and other stakeholders Ensure alignment across departments by improving communication, transparency and information flow Monitor and assess company performance, including key performance indicators and financial metrics Prepare executive-level materials such as board presentations, management reports and strategic updates Facilitate leadership meetings and strategic planning sessions, ensuring clear outcomes and follow-up Identify and proactively resolve internal challenges, acting as the CEO’s representative when needed Support the CEO by structuring priorities, coordinating key meetings and streamlining day-to-day operations About you You bring structure to complexity and are comfortable operating close to senior leadership. You’re analytical, proactive and trusted for your judgment. You enjoy both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and you know how to influence across teams without formal authority. You communicate clearly, build credibility quickly and are energized by helping organizations perform at their best. We’re looking for someone who has Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, public policy, or related field 4–7 years of experience from roles such as management consulting, general management, executive support or senior operational roles Proven experience working closely with C-level executives as a strategic partner Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Experience driving cross-functional initiatives and complex projects High organizational ability and comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment High value if you also bring Experience as a Chief of Staff or in a similar strategic advisory role Background from top-tier consulting firms (e.g. McKinsey, Bain, BCG) Experience from high-growth or scale-up environments Experience within operations, corporate strategy or project management Familiarity with board work, governance or executive communications Has a track record of using modern AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Notion AI) in daily work to automate routine tasks and improve personal productivity About Zendr Zendr is a fast-growing technology company headquartered in Stockholm, founded in 2020 by co-founders Johan Sund and Mathias Rebane . It features API integrations with key ERP and e-commerce systems to help teams access logistics data and automate shipping workflows, as well as an in-house developed proprietary cloud-platform, reducing the complexity of business logistics by simplifying and automating shipments, saving time and reducing costs for customers. Following years of rapid, profitable growth, Zendr is entering its next phase of expansion through a new strategic partnership with a European Private Equity investor, providing significant capital and expertise to accelerate Zendr’s clear technology advantage and execute their next phase of growth.
