**Remote, 20 hours/week, 30 weeks (extension possible) For an innovative GreenTech company operating in the pharmaceutical space, we are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Architect (m/f/d) . In this role, you will take architectural ownership of a complex web application that is used in production as a scientific work tool within an international pharmaceutical company. This is not a classic web frontend - it’s a data-intensive utility tool with high daily usage. Your Impact You will shape the Frontend architecture of a greenfield product that: Enables visual process modeling (molecules & reactions) Integrates CO₂, cost, and logistics simulations Processes large, complex data tables with high performance Supports multi-step scientific workflows Your architecture will directly determine performance, scalability, and UX quality. Your Mission End-to-end responsibility for the Frontend Architecture Build a scalable state management strategy Implement local-first approaches for maximum responsiveness Ensure performance with large datasets Collaborate closely with Backend to define UX-optimized APIs Evolve the initial agency codebase into a sustainable, long-term architecture What You Get Architectural ownership in a greenfield project Enterprise deployment from day one Remote setup in a small, fast-moving team ~20 hours/week, flexible Duration ~30 weeks with extension option Attractive compensation Your Profile Several years of experience building complex React/Next.js applications (production level) Deep understanding of state management (Redux, Zustand, or similar) Experience with interactive graph/canvas interfaces (e.g., React Flow, SVG, Canvas API, Three.js) Strong ability to work with large datasets and high-performance table solutions
