Techops Engineer

On Behalf of our client, Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Techops Engineer. Key Responsibilities Implement and support business and operational projects. Maintain availability, scalability, and monitoring of systems. Resolve technical issues within SLAs and prevent reoccurrence. Conduct system testing, identify bugs, and liaise with engineering teams. Research and experiment with new technologies. Plan and execute disaster recovery tests and backup procedures. Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis. Skills & Knowledge Strong system performance monitoring and database knowledge. Scripting/programming to automate processes and improve efficiency. Java application support and administration of Oracle, PL/SQL, UNIX/Linux. Understanding of microservices architecture and TCP/IP fundamentals. Competencies Adaptable, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Collaborative and aligned with company goals. Requirements Bachelors in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field. 2+ years in system engineering or DevOps. Strong Linux experience; RDBMS knowledge is an asset.
