, permanent position Position: Requisitions Clerk Quantum Insights is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Requisitions Clerk to join our dynamic team. As a Requisitions Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and tracking all purchase orders and requisitions for our company. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our expanding organization. Key Responsibilities: - Process and track all purchase orders and requisitions in a timely and accurate manner - Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services - Maintain accurate records of all purchase orders and requisitions, including pricing, delivery dates, and any changes or updates - Collaborate with various departments to ensure that all requisitions are properly authorized and within budget - Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed - Resolve any issues or discrepancies with purchase orders or requisitions, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders - Prepare and distribute reports on purchasing activity and budget status to management - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in purchasing and supply chain management Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, supply chain management, or a related field is an asset - 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with purchasing software - Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively - Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various teams and external vendors - Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain processes and procedures is an asset - Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a team player At Quantum Insights, we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming workplace for all employees.
