Job Overview: A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to join their General Litigation Department. This role requires a professional, detail-oriented individual with substantial litigation experience and proficiency in legal software systems. Key Responsibilities: Draft and prepare pleadings, court documents, and correspondence Manage litigation files using CourtOnline and Caselines Assist attorneys with civil litigation procedures and court deadlines Schedule hearings, trials, and client meetings Handle filing and service of court documents Maintain organized case files and document management systems Provide administrative support to litigation attorneys Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum 5 years of litigation secretarial experience Proficient in CourtOnline and Caselines Basic understanding of civil litigation procedures Able to draft pleadings and legal correspondence Professional appearance and demeanor Fluent in English (Afrikaans proficiency beneficial) Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
