As we continue to grow our production capabilities and R&D activities in Finland, strong supply chain ownership is critical to our success We are now looking for a (Senior) Buyer to take end-to-end ownership of sourcing, planning, and inventory control for our operations and R&D activities in Finland. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order in complex, variable environments. You like systems that run smoothly, plans that reflect reality, and decisions grounded in data. You are an independent, creative problem-solver and you are comfortable working in early-stage environments where structure still needs to be built—and you enjoy building it. What it means in practice: You build and manage a reliable supplier network with clear contracts, defined service levels, measurable KPIs, and the flexibility to support both pilot projects and complex R&D sourcing needs. You run efficient and controlled procurement operations , ensuring timely purchasing, spend visibility, cost optimisation, and structured support for prototyping and testing activities. You optimize inventory and material availability , balancing working capital efficiency with production continuity, while preventing excess, obsolescence, and shortages. You ensure smooth and compliant international logistics , coordinating shipments, freight partners, and documentation to support daily operations and facility development. To succeed in this role, we expect: You have a solid foundation in supply chain, procurement, or logistics and 2+ years of practical experience in the field. You communicate fluently in Finnish and are comfortable working with suppliers in Finnish. Our internal company language is English, but many of our suppliers prefer Finnish. You are reliable and results-oriented, delivering your work on time to support smooth operations and R&D activities. You enjoy building and maintaining strong supplier relationships and feel confident negotiating fair and sustainable agreements. You are comfortable navigating complex challenges and collaborating with different stakeholders to find practical and creative solutions. You are organised and able to work independently, while also knowing when to seek input or support from others. You are able to travel and visit our suppliers within Finland.
