Solution Architect-IIoT

Job Description: Your key responsibilities would be: • Lead End-to-End Solution Design: Architect and deliver comprehensive Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions aligned with Client target architecture, digital strategy, and Industry 4.0 roadmap. • Ensure Secure and Compliant Architectures: Design IIoT systems that meet stringent cybersecurity and compliance standards, leveraging deep expertise in IT/OT integration, edge computing, data contextualization and data orchestration to enable seamless data flow and communication across shop floor equipment, SCADA systems, local applications, ERP/MES systems, and the enterprise Data Platform. • Integrate Platforms and Technologies: Build robust integrations across IIoT platforms (e.g., ThingWorx, SCADA), cloud services (e.g., Azure CEP/UDP), and analytics tools to ensure efficient data flow and actionable insights across the enterprise. • Develop Reference Architectures and Frameworks: Contribute to the creation of scalable reference architectures, frameworks, and reusable components that accelerate client digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives. • Collaborate Across Ecosystems: Partner with internal stakeholders, external partners, and cross-domain architects to align and harmonize IIoT solutions across the organization. • Translate Business Needs into Technical Solutions: Engage directly with technology and operations teams to convert business, operational, and product lifecycle requirements into effective, implementable architectures. • Drive Continuous Innovation: Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends in IIoT, cloud, and manufacturing systems to proactively drive innovation and improvement in digital manufacturing capabilities. Who are you? In this role, we think you will bring: • Extensive experience in IT architecture with a focus on IIoT, cloud integration and data platforms. • Exceptional communication skills, able to engage effectively across all levels of the organization, from technical teams to senior management. • Proven ability to navigate and simplify complexity in environments with mixed technology stacks. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking capabilities • Deep familiarity with modern architectural practices (e.g., cloud-native development, microservices, event-driven architecture, APIs, DevOps practices). You might also bring: • Experience in documenting architectures clearly and effectively (ArchiMate, UML, or similar).
