Chief Commercial Officer (FMCG)

Our client is a rapidly growing local company within the FMCG sector. They are looking for an experienced CCO to drive business growth through strategic brand expansion. The Chief Commercial Officer will join the company at a crucial time in the company's growth-phase, and has an exceptionally exciting period ahead. The role pays around the €100K-mark , with some flexibility + benefits as listed below. Role & Responsibilities Develop strategy for business growth together with CEO Implement incentives driving revenue and market-share expansion Ensure best-in-market brand recognition through visibility, and excellent service and product offerings Set pricing and sales strategies for maximum profitability Optimise performance of outlets with the use of advanced BI techniques Drive digital transformation through data-driven marketing initiatives i.e. loyalty app and promos Establish and track KPIs for sales performance, customer satisfaction, and franchise compliance Lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering a high-performance culture Education, Skills & Experience University educated, ideally in business management or commerce Local (Maltese) experience of 3+ years within the FMCG / food retail industry in a senior commercial role - non-negotiable Strong track record of scaling a business and driving profitability Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken Ability to speak Maltese could be advantageous (not essential) Strong expertise in sales, marketing, and franchise management Excellent negotiation skills Engaging leader with proven track record of mentoring and building strong teams About this role Full-time with flexibility (hybrid/hours) Salary idea around €100K basic KPI-related incentives Company Car Parking Health insurance Laptop, mobile & other business-critical and performance-enhancing gadgets Please, apply with your detailed CV in English *JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
