Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a busy secondary school in Sheffield . This is a full-time, permanent role starting in April 2026 , with responsibility for overseeing the school’s premises and facilities. Site Manager required on a full-time basis Large secondary school with extensive facilities Key leadership role within support staff team Strong senior leadership support The successful Site Manager will take overall responsibility for health and safety, compliance, and maintenance, managing site staff and coordinating contractors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities • Managing the school site, buildings, and grounds • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation • Line-managing caretaking and cleaning staff • Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance • Managing contractors and external services • Supporting lettings, events, and examinations • Acting as key holder and emergency contact Experience and Qualifications • Proven experience in site or facilities management • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations • Leadership and organisational skills • Proactive and solution-focused mindset • Legal right to work in the UK School Information This Sheffield secondary school offers a structured and professional working environment.
