Financial Accountant

Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day coordination with a focus on ensuring that the accounting procedures and processes are followed. Verify that established controls are effective to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of the information reported and the protection of the assets of the business. Provide analysis of local taxation requirements to ensure the companys obligations are met. Play a key role in Accounts Payable, Payroll Administrator, Financial Reporting and Balance Sheet Reconciliations. Qualifications: Accounting Graduate, CPA preferably At least five years of Finance/Accounting work experience preferably in the Mining Industry or exceptional academic performance. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and current pronouncements and developments. Knowledge of Philippine tax laws especially on local taxation expanded withholding tax and Vat. Familiar or knowledge of Pronto Enterprise Management System Strong excel or P2P knowledge Location: Aroroy, Masbate This is a site-based position. The work roster is four (4) weeks onsite followed by two (2) weeks off
