The Role Leading and managing the school’s SEND provision across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 where applicable) Overseeing EHCPs, support plans, and statutory processes Line managing and developing SEND staff and teaching assistants Monitoring progress and implementing targeted interventions Working closely with senior leadership, parents, and external agencies Driving inclusive practice and whole-school SEND strategy The Ideal Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) The National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete it) Significant experience working with pupils with SEND in a secondary setting Previous leadership experience within SEND provision Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills School Information This outstanding school in Birmingham is recognised for its exceptional academic outcomes, strong pastoral systems, and supportive leadership team.
