SAP Funtional Consultant

Overview A global technology and transformation partner is strengthening its SAP delivery capability in Vietnam and is seeking an experienced SAP AM/PS Consultant to join its Ho Chi Minh City–based team. This position will focus on end-to-end solution delivery across Asset Management (AM) and Project Systems (PS), working closely with regional stakeholders and cross-functional SAP teams. The Role You will play a key role in designing, configuring, and supporting SAP solutions across asset lifecycle and project system environments. The role involves both implementation and post-go-live support, with strong exposure to integration across core SAP modules. Key Responsibilities Configuration & Support Configure and support SAP AM and PS modules, including integration touchpoints with FI, MM, PM, Procurement, and PP Manage asset lifecycle processes and support project setup using WBS and related PS functionalities Solution Design & Delivery Design, test, and deploy end-to-end solutions across AM and PS modules Prepare functional and detailed design documentation Ensure seamless integration with broader SAP landscapes User Engagement & Support Lead user testing for enhancements and system changes Provide user training and ongoing support Maintain documentation, training guides, and process materials Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement Analyze complex business and system requirements Recommend practical and scalable SAP solutions Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot production issues Collaboration Facilitate requirement-gathering and solution design workshops Work across distributed teams and stakeholders in multiple locations Contribute to project delivery across implementation lifecycles Profile Minimum 5 years of SAP experience with strong hands-on exposure to both AM and PS modules At least two full lifecycle SAP implementations (including one S/4HANA project) Solid understanding of asset lifecycle management and project systems Cross-module integration knowledge across FI, MM, PM, Procurement, and manufacturing processes Experience documenting functional designs, configurations, and process changes Familiarity with SAP Activate or ASAP methodologies Bachelors degree in finance, manufacturing, IT, or related discipline Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills Comfortable managing multiple projects across regional or global environments Preferred (Nice to Have) Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and Fiori Experience with manufacturing execution systems and reporting Knowledge of asset procurement, disposal, and related reporting Familiarity with Plant Maintenance integration SAP or relevant functional certifications Why Consider This Opportunity Regional SAP programs with enterprise-scale clients Strong exposure to S/4HANA environments Collaborative international project teams Long-term growth within a scaling SAP practice
