REGISTERED NURSE - EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT - NIGHTS & EVENINGS

JOB DESCRIPTION- Registered Nurse - Emergency Department ER - ED/ER Full-Time Registered Nurse candidates for the Emergency Department will have the following job responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs. Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards. Directs and delegates care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence. Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development. Participates in the development of and maintains established hospital policies, procedures and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection prevention program. Performs other duties as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS- Registered Nurse - Emergency Department ER - ED/ER Full-Time Registered Nurse candidates for the Emergency Department must meet the following minimum job qualifications: Education Required: Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Preferred: Specialty certification Experience Required: Minimum one year of recent Emergency experience required or currently oriented and can provide care independently within the department required. Must demonstrate independent management of cardiac, complex med/surg, pediatric, and multiple trauma patients. Demonstrated competence in area of expertise. Credentials Required: Registered Nurse Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support Required: ACLS according to Resuscitation Training Completion Requirements policy. ENPC and TNCC within 12 months of hire or transfer date. Compensation: $40.09-76.12/hour
