The Opportunity & Contract Profile Join the operational team of an Outstanding school. This is a vital practical role supporting the daily maintenance and security of the inner-city premises. Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (52 weeks per year). Part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate. Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope Site Security: Key holding duties, locking/unlocking premises, and monitoring access points. Maintenance: Undertaking minor repairs (plumbing, carpentry, decorating) and general DIY tasks. Cleaning & Presentation: Ensuring grounds and buildings are clean, tidy, and fit for purpose. Compensation & Benefits Essential Requirements: Proven reliable background and demonstrated ability to undertake basic maintenance and repairs. Salary: Competitive salary, dependent on experience (ranging from £24,000 – £28,000 FTE). Support: Generous Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
