Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer – Risk, Intake & Conflicts

Description This role serves as the technical owner and strategic partner for enterprise applications supporting the firms risk, compliance, and new business intake functions. The position blends deep platform expertise, cloud migration leadership, and close business partnership to ensure application stability, security, and continued evolution. Responsibilities Own and oversee enterprise applications supporting risk and compliance , including Intapp Conflicts, Intake, Walls, Terms , and related platforms Plan and lead the migration of the Intapp platform from on-premise to cloud , identifying new capabilities that enhance business outcomes Partner closely with business stakeholders to analyze workflows, configurations, and feature usage , translating operational needs into technical solutions Provide strategic recommendations to IT and business leadership based on platform roadmaps, system capabilities, and organizational priorities Manage application implementations, upgrades, enhancements, troubleshooting, and long-term roadmaps Monitor application health, performance, and capacity , including ownership of capacity planning activities Coordinate with internal IT teams to design, deliver, and deploy new features and enhancements , managing efforts through completion Maintain current architecture diagrams, support documentation, and operational materials for engineering and support teams Actively manage the firms relationship with Intapp , advocating for requested features, fixes, and roadmap alignment Participate in and adhere to change management, SDLC, and incident management processes Collaborate on the development and execution of training and quality assurance materials Work with Quality Assurance teams on test scripts, testing procedures, and remediation efforts Provide mentorship and coaching to junior analysts and coordinate with on-site, remote, and offshore team members Requirements Experience & Background Minimum 7 years of overall IT experience At least 5 years supporting enterprise application platforms Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Intapp Conflicts, Intake, Walls, and Terms , or equivalent risk and compliance platforms At least 3 years of experience working with cloud or SaaS-based solutions Prior experience in a professional services or legal environment preferred Experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders preferred Technical & Platform Expertise Strong working knowledge of Intapp configuration tools , including Forms, Workflows, and datasets Experience with cloud platforms , including integrations, feature releases, and lifecycle management Knowledge of system integrations , including APIs, web services, FTP, and database-to-database connections Proficiency with SQL Server , including query development and reporting Familiarity with AI and GenAI concepts and their application within legal technology and enterprise systems Working knowledge of security best practices and data governance principles Delivery, Collaboration & Communication Ability to work effectively with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Demonstrated organizational, negotiation, and critical thinking skills Proven ability to operate successfully in a highly collaborative environment
