Senior DT Technician – Lead Workshop Safety and Specialist Resistant Materials Support – Leeds A dynamic secondary school in Leeds is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Senior DT Technician to specialize in Resistant Materials and lead workshop management from January 2026. Experience and Qualifications Significant experience working as a DT Technician, specializing in Resistant Materials (Wood/Metal/Plastics) . Expert knowledge of workshop machinery operation, maintenance, and safety regulations (e.g., COSHH). Proven ability to prepare materials, set up practical projects, and assist students with specialist equipment. Strong organizational skills for managing stock, materials procurement, and budget tracking. School Information This is a senior role, essential to the success and safety of our busy DT department. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the main workshop, supported by a junior technician.
