SYSTEMS/PROJECT ENGINEER (AEGIS) Orgro is seeking to hire a Project Engineer/Systems Manager with a background in AEGIS to join our diverse engineering support services in fulfilling our military contracts that provide independent quality assessments in the development of computer programs that will be critical to the defense of the United States and Foreign Military sales. Our ideal candidate will be performing an array of responsibilities and duties to support the AEGIS TECHREP program under Engineering Support Services (ESS). You will be possess the ability to focus on software/system verification, product validation, and technical documentation for radar and sensor systems by working across the engineering lifecycle, ensuring test artifacts are clear, traceable, and actionable. ABOUT THE POSITION : Title: Project Engineer (AEGIS) or Systems Engineer (AEGIS) Location: On-site based in Mount Laurel/Moorestown, NJ Type: Contract To Hire Employment: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive with a full benefit package Requirements: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Have an active or be eligible for a DOD Security Clearance KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and execute system/software verification for radar/sensor capabilities Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and reports with clear pass/fail criteria Perform data analysis and present findings to stakeholders Support product validation and release readiness activities Author customer-facing documentation and contribute to monthly reporting deliverables Collaborate with cross-functional teams (prime and subcontractors and government departments) to align on scope and close actions. Operate within cleared environments following NAVSEA?BAE security protocols and Orgro SOPs. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems/software test & verification within Defense/DOD programs Have strong technical writing and data analysis skills Must have an active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain clearance PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED: Practical experience with AEGIS or Naval radar systems Familiarity with flight-test or lab-test environments Have a contribution to SETR or equivalent engineering reviews WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE BY JOINING ORGRO Growth with a People First organization: We believe great work starts with respect and empathy - for our team and our customers You will have Clear Expectations : There will be no guesswork.
