Your Role as a DT Teacher: 🔹 Teach an Engaging DT Curriculum – Deliver high-quality lessons in product design, resistant materials, and digital technologies. 🔹 Encourage Innovation – Inspire students to develop practical and creative problem-solving skills. 🔹 Hands-On Learning – Guide students through exciting projects using a range of materials and techniques. 🔹 Monitor Student Progress – Provide feedback and support to help students achieve their potential. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching DT, preferably in an independent school setting. ✅ Passionate About Design & Technology – Enthusiasm for the subject and a desire to inspire the next generation of designers and engineers. ✅ Skilled in Multiple Areas – Knowledge of various DT disciplines, including CAD/CAM, product design, and engineering. ✅ Creative & Practical – Ability to balance theoretical knowledge with hands-on, project-based learning. ✅ Empathetic & Supportive – A teaching style that nurtures students' skills and builds their confidence in DT. ✅ Strong Communication Skills – Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and parents. ✅ An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
