Independent School | Westminster Full-time, Permanent | Start Date: As Soon As Possible The Role We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and highly effective Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to join a well-established and nurturing Independent School in Westminster. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering the opportunity to play a key strategic role in supporting pupils with additional needs and ensuring inclusive, high-quality provision across the school. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive education and will work closely with teaching staff, senior leaders, parents, and external professionals to ensure every pupil is supported to achieve their full potential. The Opportunity This role offers the chance to lead and develop SEND provision within a supportive, forward-thinking school environment. You will be responsible for overseeing identification, assessment, and support strategies, ensuring that pupils with SEND receive tailored, effective interventions that promote both academic progress and wellbeing. The SENCO will also play a central role in advising staff, contributing to whole-school improvement, and maintaining compliance with statutory and independent sector expectations.
