Key Responsibilities Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group interventions for pupils with SEN Support literacy, numeracy, and communication skill development Foster emotional regulation, positive behaviour, and self-confidence Record and track pupil progress , reporting outcomes to the SENCO and teaching staff Assist with classroom activities and differentiated lesson delivery Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure consistent support Participate in staff meetings, CPD sessions, and school initiatives Person Specification Previous experience supporting SEN pupils or delivering targeted interventions Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills Patience, adaptability, and empathy for children with additional needs Relevant qualifications such as Level 3 Teaching Assistant, ELSA, or SEN-specific training Desirable: Knowledge of Talk Boost, Lego Therapy, Little Wandle, or 1st Class@Number programs.
