About the Role: Deliver engaging and interactive Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering physical, human, and environmental geography. Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that incorporate fieldwork, map skills, GIS, data analysis, and discussions of contemporary geographical challenges. Assess student progress through fieldwork reports, presentations, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to enhance their geographical understanding. Organize and lead fieldwork opportunities to diverse locations. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Geography. A strong understanding of the secondary geography curriculum and effective teaching methodologies, including fieldwork. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students in geographical inquiry. Proficiency in using geographical software and resources.
