RE Teacher – Cheshire – January 2026

A high-achieving 11–18 secondary school in Cheshire is seeking an engaging and thoughtful Teacher of Religious Education to join its Humanities faculty from January 2026. The school, rated Good by Ofsted, is known for its strong pastoral ethos and commitment to developing respect, reflection, and understanding among its diverse student community. About the Role You will teach RE across KS3–KS5, exploring philosophical and ethical questions that encourage debate, empathy and critical reasoning. The department uses discussion-based and project-based learning to help students connect belief systems with real-world contexts. The Department The RE department is highly regarded across the school, working collaboratively within Humanities. Resources include digital learning platforms, access to partnerships with local faith and community groups. About You QTS or equivalent qualification in Religious Education or related field. Passion for ethical and philosophical teaching. Strong communication and reflective practice.
