Responsibilities Establishing a system for receiving and addressing complaints from affected communities regarding project impacts. Designing and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize negative social impacts, such as community development programs, skills training initiatives, and environmental protection measures. Tracking the social impacts of the project throughout construction, documenting key findings, and reporting to relevant stakeholders. Ensure compliance with national laws, human rights policies, and social sustainability standards. Providing training to project staff on social safeguards practices and community engagement techniques. Ensuring that the project adheres to relevant social and environmental regulations and standards set by government agencies and international funding institutions. Prepare and submit social performance reports for regulatory authorities, funding agencies, and internal management. Conduct periodic social audits and impact evaluations to assess project effectiveness. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in social risk management strategies. Skills and Knowledge: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Sociology or any other related field Minimum 5 years of experience in social impact management within the construction, infrastructure, or civil engineering sectors. Experience in stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and grievance redress mechanisms. Proficiency in social risk assessment tools and methodologies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in diverse and remote locations with multi-stakeholder teams.
