EYFS Teaching Assistant – Rainham

We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Rainham, starting as soon as possible. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and enjoys supporting young children as they begin their educational journey. The school provides a nurturing and stimulating Early Years environment where children are encouraged to explore, develop independence, and build confidence. Staff work closely together to deliver high-quality provision aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, and leadership places a strong emphasis on staff wellbeing and professional development. The Role As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work across Nursery and Reception classes, supporting children with their learning, routines, and personal development. You will assist the class teacher with daily activities, help prepare engaging learning environments, and support pupils both individually and in small groups. You will play an important role in helping children develop early communication, social skills, and positive learning behaviours. This role requires patience, creativity, and a strong understanding of how young children learn through play.
