Software Verification Engineer; Automotive / Passive Safety Electronics

Our Automotive client is seeking a Software Test engineer to verify Safety Electronics within our clients Base Function Verification Team within Passive Safety. You will collaborate closely with design teams, contribute to system and function testing, and develop innovative test methods. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of automotive technology and be part of a global team shaping the future of mobility. Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough system and function testing of Safety Electronics components. Develop and implement effective test methods, incorporating specification requirements. Collaborate with colleagues in China on system and function testing areas. Report to the Passive Safety Test Leader and work closely with in-house SW design team. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in verifying automotive environments. Proficiency in Vector tools and communication protocols (CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet Automotive). Experience in automotive testing, including vehicles and rig environments. Knowledge in writing Design Verification Methods (DVMs). Personal Attributes: Strong ability to drive, motivate, and convince. Autonomous work ethic with a high level of responsibility and mandate.
