Job Summary: In this Position, the Hospitalist Physician is a board-certified, licensed physician responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to acutely ill and/or medically complex patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) and other inpatient settings. This position requires a strong foundation in internal medicine, critical thinking, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The Hospitalist Physician will deliver evidence-based care, ensure effective communication with patients, families, and team members, and contribute to the education and training of advanced practice providers and residents, if applicable. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Expertise Patient Care and Treatment Planning Communication and Education Documentation and Compliance Teaching and Leadership Quality Improvement and Collaboration Job Requirements: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board certification in Internal Medicine. Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Texas. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Prior experience in hospital medicine, critical care, or related fields is preferred. Experience working in an ICU or managing acutely ill patients is highly desirable.
