Institutional Sales - Equities - Chinese IB

Responsibilities Client Development: Actively build relationships with Chinese/foreign institutional clients (hedge funds, asset managers, PE firms); originate business opportunities in secondary market equities, new issues, and IPO underwriting. Sales Execution: Participate in equity sales/trading, product marketing, and placement; grasp client appetites and relay to trading/research teams for customized solutions; follow through from pitching to execution. Market Intelligence: Provide research-driven insights, execute transactions (including algo trading), and support prime brokerage services like margin financing and securities lending. Business Growth: Source deals, lead pitches, and contribute to revenue targets amid HK's IPO surge driving equity demand from tech/biotech listings. Qualifications Degree in Finance, Investment, or related; CFA preferred. 3-10 years equities sales experience with established institutional client base. SFC licensed (Types 1/4); fluent English, Mandarin, Cantonese. Strong communication, strategic sales vision, out-of-box problem-solving; persistent deal-maker with broker relationships.
