We are looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Medway. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with special educational needs and help them access learning in a positive and structured environment. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils who require additional support, either on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. You may support pupils with autism spectrum condition, ADHD, speech and language needs, or social and emotional difficulties. Your role will be central to helping pupils feel confident, supported, and included within the school community. You will assist the class teacher and SENCo in implementing personalised learning strategies, supporting academic progress, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing. Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils will be key, helping them to develop independence and resilience. You will also support with classroom preparation, intervention sessions, and monitoring progress. Effective communication with staff and the SEN team will ensure consistent support is provided throughout the school day. This role is ideal for someone with experience in SEN support or someone looking to develop a career within education and SEND.
