Project Manager - High Voltage

Company Background We are representing our client, that provides Electrical and Mechanical engineering solutions including Electrical (High/Low Voltage), ELV Systems, ACMV & HVAC Systems, Clean Room Systems, Fire Protection, Clean Energy Solutions, Data Center Solutions and etc. As they continue to expand, they are looking to hire a Project Manager – High Voltage to join the team Job Responsibilities: Lead and oversee high-voltage electrical projects at 275kV, 132kV, 33kV, and 11kV, ensuring full compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Perform detailed electrical calculations and simulations, including cable and load sizing, overcurrent protection, and earth fault protection design. Handle key infrastructure projects such as Data Centres, Interconnection Facilities (IF) for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Large-Scale Solar (LSS) Farms. Prepare and review technical documentation, including electrical drawings, specifications, and engineering reports. Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient project execution. Participate in project meetings and technical presentations to align stakeholders and drive progress. Conduct on-site and off-site inspections to monitor construction activities and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems during all phases of the project. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, verifying accuracy against approved designs. Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical oversight and supporting their professional development. Job Requirements: Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Minimum of 5–7 years experience in project management for high-voltage systems or equivalent capacity Knowledgeable in general electrical / mechanical engineering works Ability to interact and deal effectively with all levels of management and staff Must possess good planning knowledge analytical skills Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and resolve conflict Must be willing to work half day on Saturday Job details: Permanent employment Working hours: Mon-Fri (9.00am-6.00pm) & Sat (9.00am - 1.00pm) Qualified and interested candidates may apply online or email your updated resume to siti(at) talentrecruit.com.my .
