Chinese Translator

Position Summary: We are looking for a skilled and versatile Translator proficient in Swahili, English, and Chinese to facilitate communication across diverse teams and with international stakeholders. This role involves translating technical and non-technical documents, as well as providing interpretation services in these three languages. Key Responsibilities: Translate company documents, reports, emails, and communications between Swahili, English, and Mandarin. Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, video conferences, and phone calls as required. Translate technical documents, product manuals, safety protocols, and operational guidelines from one language to another. Ensure accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness in all translations. Assist HR and management teams with translating company policies, employee handbooks, and other internal communications. Maintain accurate and organized records of all translated materials. Collaborate with various departments to ensure that translations meet specific technical, cultural, and regulatory requirements. Act as a liaison for teams who need support with language barriers in both written and verbal communication. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a translator or bilingual assistant, ideally in the industrial, automotive, or vehicle manufacturing sector. High proficiency in Swahili, English, and Mandarin with excellent written and verbal communication skills in all three languages. Knowledge of technical terminology in the vehicle assembling or automotive industry is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple translation projects simultaneously. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Familiarity with document management systems or translation tools is a bonus.
