Technical Support Engineer

Industry: Petrochemical MNC Environment Exciting career opportunity Responsibilities: Provide overall technical solutions to customers which are not limited to company's products only but also the inclusion of tooling, and part design analysis i.e – CAE, and injection molding Conduct market research on the latest technology trends related to the company's current or future targeted applications Plan and work together with the commercial team to create a mid-term plan as well as long-term plan business strategy on target application Provide solution and technical support to the commercial team in meeting short-term budget targets Plan and evaluate analysis methods about actual application requirements and needs to provide actual data to customers for application development Obtain actual application requirements and translate these technical requirements into actual material properties for R&D to formulate new material. Provide support in negotiating newly formulated material technical properties limitation with customers on specific application needs & requirements Provide technical marketing activities in developing new markets and/or customers. Provide technical training to all business partners such as Traders and/or Distributors on Engineering Polymer, technical training will be also extended to customers as and when requested. Organized trade show to enhance AK product brand marketing. Conducting molding trials with customers Requirements: Knowledge in Polymer / Plastics is a must Polymer stream graduate (Dip and above) *Chemical Graduate will be consider as well* Knowledge with minimum 3 yrs experience in plastics injection molding and experience of chemical analysis for plastics or chemicals Frequent travelling will be required for this position Good knowledge with Microsoft excel and power point presentation will be an advantage Job ID: V665V698 All Successful candidates can expect a very competitive remuneration package and a comprehensive range of benefits.
