Workshop Manager

Key Responsibilities Coordinating with operations on fleet requirement on daily basis Coordinating with Branch workshop for daily requirements on fleet maintenance. Ensuring timely availability of fleet required for operations. Coordinating with Workshop staff /team for day to day activities Coordinating with stores for spare parts Ensuring timelines are met to recover the standby and break down vehicles. Estimate on accidental vehicles and coordinating with Insurance /Finance for submission for same. Preparing repair estimates on the standby vehicles to get them repaired and put back to operations. Plans on complete overhaul maintenance on running fleet vehicles periodically for maintaining upkeep of vehicles. Motivating and Appreciating the staff towards achieving the given task (By proposing and giving special incentives) Responsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labour allocation for day to day operations. Any other jobs assigned from time to time Skills and Experience: Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work with people at various levels junior to senior management Can look beyond the initial customer enquiry and identify other business opportunities CAD drawing skills are an advantage but not essential Project management experience People management skills Computer literacy with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel Quality and productivity focused Industry: Logistics
