Key Responsibilities: Provide effective leadership and management for a well-established Art department. Build upon the existing strengths of the department and identify areas for further growth and artistic exploration. Support and develop the expertise of the Art teaching team. Ensure the curriculum remains relevant, engaging, and challenging, reflecting contemporary artistic trends. Maintain excellent standards of teaching, learning, and assessment in Art. Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in Fine Art or a related subject. Significant experience teaching Art at secondary level, with demonstrable leadership experience in a successful department. Proven ability to lead and manage a team of creative practitioners effectively. Strong understanding of curriculum development and assessment in Art. Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
