About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging English Literature lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5, including GCSE and A-Level. Develop and implement lesson plans that cover a wide range of literary genres and periods. Facilitate student-led discussions, debates, and presentations on literary texts. Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and examinations, providing detailed and constructive feedback. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the English Literature curriculum. Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as literature clubs and theatre visits. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in English Literature. Extensive experience teaching English Literature to GCSE and A-Level. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. A passion for fostering a love of literature and developing critical thinking skills.
