Our Science department is a team of experts dedicated to delivering a rigorous and engaging curriculum that emphasizes practical applications and prepares students for future scientific studies. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, following relevant examination specifications. Plan and prepare high-quality lessons that cater to a variety of scientific interests and abilities, ensuring all students are challenged and supported. Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources, including practical experiments, demonstrations, and technology, to enhance student learning. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning journeys. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Physics examinations, ensuring they have a strong understanding of assessment criteria. Contribute to the development of the Physics curriculum and resources, integrating current scientific research and advancements. Foster a love of physics in students, encouraging them to develop their analytical and problem-solving skills. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs related to physics and science. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Physics, including advanced topics. Demonstrated ability to teach across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including A-Level. Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Physics examinations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities. A passion for physics and a commitment to fostering scientific inquiry.
