Senior Accountant

A boutique professional services firm specializing in accountancy and audits, based in Naxxar , is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to work with a variety of clients, take on a leadership role, and further develop their career. Salary: Up to €45K + benefits Role and Responsibilities Compile and organize client accounting records in preparation for audits Produce timely and accurate management accounts Prepare and file clients’ VAT returns in compliance with regulations Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end closings Supervise, mentor, and support junior accounting staff Liaise with clients, addressing accounting queries and providing advisory support Education, Skills, and Experience Qualified accountant Minimum of 4 years’ experience as an Accountant in Malta Previous experience with client accounting Fluency in English, both written and spoken Strong knowledge of VAT regulations Experience in mentoring and supervising staff Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines About This Role Competitive salary of up to €45K , depending on experience, plus benefits Office located in Naxxar, Malta Opportunities for professional growth and career development Apply with your detailed CV. *JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
